I mentioned the other day that Costa Rica was honored for the last five years in a row as "the best tourist destination in Latin America" by Travel Weekly, but that is not the only recognition they have received. Even National Geographic has taken notice and called the Corcovado National Park in the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica the Earth’s Most Biologically Intense Place. Modern Bride magazine regularly includes Costa Rica as one of the top 5 honeymoon destinations in the world and the list goes on and on.
It seems that there is something positive about Costa Rica popping up in the news almost every time you turn around. Why is that? Because Costa Rica is one of the most beautiful places on the earth and it is "up and coming" in terms of the economy and standard of living. It is also one of the most ecologically diverse places on the planet which makes it incredibly unique in so many ways.
If you are looking for a new place to start a business or move an existing business, you will find the climate in Costa Rica perfect for doing that. There are plenty of qualified workers and the cost is much better than in other part of the world, especially the United States right now. Plus, with so many tourists there is a constant flow of people from all over the world to do business with.
When I moved here and starting pursuing my real estate business, I almost couldn't believe that I could live and work in absolute paradise. I mean, of course life has its ups and downs no matter where you are, but I would certainly rather deal with them surrounded by the mountains, the ocean and the rain forests in a place where people still have good morals and the pace is just a little more relaxed. Wouldn’t you?
