All of us in the Jaco Costa Rica community are excited about our new theater, Teatro Jaco, providing first run plays and entertainment to the Central Pacific. Teatro Jaco recently opened on December 20th and featured “A Christmas Carol”, a warm and uplifting musical adaptation of the classic Dicken’s tale. The cast was a mix of foreigners and locals, allowing everyone a chance to participate. Teatro Jaco was founded by Darren Lee Cole, co-owner of the SoHo Playhouse in NYC and producer of hundreds of theatrical productions worldwide.A Christmas Carol performed at Teatro Jaco was a successful play during Christmas.

  Iron Maiden’s Plane Touched Down in Costa Rica Yesterday. Heavy metal group Iron Maiden arrived to Costa Rica yesterday in their private plane Ed Force One to prepare for their second concert on Costa Rican soil. The concert is set to take place tomorrow, March 3, in the Alejandro Morera Soto Stadium in Alajuela.
