THIS IS THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR THAT THE CITY OF JACO WON THE ECOLOGICAL BLUE FLAG.
The activity of hoisting the flag was held on Friday May 28th at 10:00 am at the Central Park of Jacó. The activity was attended by special guests such as Mr. Oscar Nuñez, President of Aqueducts; Mr. Darner Mora, representative of AyA; Sonia Alvarado, president of Blue Flag Committee of Garabito; Mrs. Gabriela Arias, Central Pacific Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Marvin Elizondo, Mayor of Garabito; and representatives of the Municipal Council.
In addition, several educational institutions in the area were honored for their efforts, with this great flag: Capulin School, Republic of Guyana School , Quebrada Amarilla School, Quebrada Ganado High School, Quebrada Ganado School, Herradura School , Leader of Tárcoles School , Falcon International School, Central Leader of Jacó School.
